Math PhD Hiring Network (Part 2)

Yesterday, I was looking at the changes in the hiring networks over the last century based on data I scraped from Math Genealogy Project. Today, I am going to look at the same data but this time I am going to restrict myself to the Universities in the US, Canada and UK. I am going to look at universities in a larger network (including the continental Europe and Russia) next.

Without further ado, here are the graphs:

  1. Hiring network in Mathematics in the US, Canada and the UK before 1930.
  2. Hiring network in Mathematics in the US, Canada and the UK between 1930 and 1950.
  3. Hiring network in Mathematics in the US, Canada and the UK between 1950 and 1975.
  4. Hiring network in Mathematics in the US, Canada and the UK between 1975 and 2000.
  5. Hiring network in Mathematics in the US, Canada and the UK after 2000.
